Our guided tours and walks are operated by well chosen guides who know a lot about the life here and speak proper english.
We will pick you up from your guesthouse after breakfast. Your guide will take you on a Becak (Tuk-Tuk) through the village. On a friday you will also visit the local market.
You will see lush green rice fields, the production of tofu and brown sugar. Make a stop for a refreshing coconut.

Bat cave & riverside bbq
On this tour follow your guide on a walk to the bat cave which is an impressive cave system. You will see the bats hanging from the top as they are resting in the day time.
Your guide will help you exploring the cave as far as possible and maybe you can spot other cave inhabitants (swallows, snakes, cave crickets etc).Besides the animals the cave is beautiful itself.After the sweaty hike follow your guide to Landak River for a tasty veggie BBQ lunch and a refreshing swim.

You want to see the best places of Bukit Lawang for taking pictures? You forgot your camera or want to have good quality pictures of yourself/your group?
We will take you to the most instagramable spots and take great pictures while walking through the village and the nature.
Pictures will be taken with our Canon Camera or if you wish your own camera.
We will provide all taken photos via Google Drive/Dropbox INCL. our 5 favorites professionally edited.

Visit the local market on each friday. Get to know where the locals shop and try some of the culinary specialties there.

You could walk there alone, but if you opt for a guided walk we will show you where you can find the best snack, help you to chose the best fruits, show you where to buy the best sarong and we will take pictures of you walking around as a memory of your trip.
